This site is built on a Wiki system, or in full Wiki-Wiki, an alliterative substitute for quick. Wiki is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly. There are a number of Wiki systems available and for this site we are using DokuWiki.

Once you login, additional buttons appear in the top and bottom toolbars. The most important is the "Edit this page" button. If you try to access a page that hasn't been created yet, the button will read "Create this page" instead. Simply, click this button the load/create the page in the editor.
In the bottom toolbar are two new buttons: Recent changes, produces a list of the most recently edited pages and Old revisions shows the changes to the current page.
When the Edit, Recent Changes or Old Revisions pages are displayed, a "Show page" button appears. This will return you to the last page you were viewing. If you were in the editor, you will be prompted whether to loose any changes.
dokuwiki supports a simple markup language that tries to make the datafiles as readable as possible. The following pages contains all possible syntax you may use when editing the pages. Simply have a look at the source of these page by pressing the Edit this page button at top or bottom of the screen. If you want to try something please use a playground page. The simpler markup is easily accessible via quickbuttons above the edit window.
